Nurul Iman Home was founded at the end of the year 2000 with original name Yayasan Nurul Iman. Failure of Yayasan Nurul Iman to bear the hostel operational cost and also problems with the house owner. Being faced with problems frequently, Mr Khairul Anuar determined to take over full operation of Asrama Nurul Iman from Yayasan Nurul Iman and its committee.
The new settlement located at Plot 359, Lorong Dato, Manjoi, Ipoh, Perak. It only had a two doors house which rented for RM200.00 a month. With En Khairul Anuar’s low personal income, he gave more effort to operate the settlement together with the help from the surroundings resident and ADUN Manjoi, YB Dato’ Haji Nazri.
After struggling for years to defend and taking care of the orphans and poor children by himself (including cooking and everything), by 9th October 2006 Mr. Khairul Anuar registered the hostel officially by the name of Pusat Jagaan Anak Anak Yatim Dan Miskin Nurul Iman which in sole ownership. In 12th October 2006, Mr. Khairul Anuar made a declaration of oath to certify that Pusat Jagaan Anak Anak Yatim Dan Miskin Nurul Iman runs the activity for free.
In order to expand the defense of orphans and the poor child, In June 2010 Mr. Khairul Anuar has been open a Care Centre (Branch) in Kampung Pinang, Kamunting, Taiping which houses only for boys, but has closed operations on 1st Semtember 2016 because do not have the support of the surrounding communities.
And on June 30, 2011 a PERTUBUHAN KEBAJIKAN KASIH NURUL IMAN NEGERI PERAK an officially established under the Registrar of Societies. This is to facilitate the establishment and administration of qualified Social Welfare Department.
